In 2026, Baltic Shuttle, together with the Russian carrier SKSauto, operates daily bus trips between Tallinn and St. Petersburg. Due to the reconstruction of the Narva-Ivangorod road border crossing point, the trip is carried out on two buses with a pedestrian crossing of the Estonian-Russian border.
On the Tallinn — St. Petersburg — Tallinn route, passengers travel on Baltic Shuttle buses through the territory of Estonia and on SKSauto buses through the territory of Russia. At the border, passengers exit the bus with all their belongings and walk approximately 950 meters on their own across the bridge between the border crossing points of Narva and Ivangorod.
Bus from Tallinn to St. Petersburg: departure at 00:40, 06:50, 09:45, and 15:00.
Bus from St. Petersburg to Tallinn: departure at 05:45, 10:00, 12:00, and 14:55.
The cost of an adult ticket for the full route starts from 35 euros, and discounts apply for children, youth under 26 years old, and pensioners. The price includes the transportation of one piece of hand luggage up to 5 kg and one main piece of luggage weighing up to 30 kg. For an additional piece of luggage, an extra fee of 10 euros or 1000 rubles will be required, payable either to the driver or upon purchasing online.
To transport a dog or a cat in a carrier, the passenger must purchase a second adult ticket in their own name so that the animal is placed on the adjacent seat. The pet must have all the necessary documents for crossing the border and remain enclosed in the carrier throughout the entire trip. Special child seats are not provided on the buses, therefore parents are recommended to use their own infant car seats or boosters.
The buses of both companies are equipped with free Wi-Fi, toilets, climate control, and power outlets for a comfortable trip. In St. Petersburg, the bus makes a convenient stop near the Moskovskaya metro station for a quick transfer to city transport to Pulkovo Airport. When traveling to Tallinn, a stop is provided at Terminal D for transferring to ferries heading to Helsinki.
