Methods of paying for tickets on the Baltic Shuttle website

In the Baltic Shuttle Online ticket system, payment for tickets is possible in various ways: with Visa and Mastercard bank cards, via PayPal and directly from accounts in a number of banks in the Baltic and Scandinavian countries.

Payment by bank cards

The most popular payment methods are bank cards of the Visa and Mastercard payment systems. To pay using this method, your bank card must be issued jointly with these payment systems. When paying with Visa and Mastercard cards, you must pass two-factor authentication 3-D Secure.

We also accept payment for tickets via PayPal. When making payments via PayPal, there is no need to enter bank card details, which are linked to the PayPal account in advance.

We do NOT currently accept cards from other payment systems (UnionPay, Europay, Girocard, American Express, JCB, Discover, Mir).

Payment by bank cards using the Click to Pay method

The SEB bank payment gateway in our ticket system supports Click to Pay payments. The Click to Pay payment method was developed by Mastercard, Visa and Europay payment systems for fast and secure payment for online purchases. It allows you to make purchases on websites and in applications without having to manually enter your bank card details each time. This payment method uses intelligent recognition of payers through tokenization technology.

Click to Pay can be used if the card is issued by a bank that supports this payment method (the card must have a chip).

To start using it, the cardholder registers their bank card once to create a card profile in the Click to Pay system. This can be done when placing an order with participating merchants or directly through the bank that issued the card. Your profile appears in the system, linked to the device from which the registration was made (the system works with different devices - smartphone, tablet, computer).

When you subsequently make a payment with a bank card on the same device in any system that supports Click to Pay (including our ticket system), your profile is recognized and the system offers to use the card details saved in your Click to Pay profile for payment (or select one of the registered cards). After your confirmation, the payment is made, in most cases without the need for additional authentication of the bank card owner. It is also possible to refuse to use the details in your Click to Pay profile and enter the card details manually.

Click to Pay is suitable for one-time payments and refunds, but not for subscriptions or automatic debits.

Tokenization is used to secure payments according to EMV standards - the process of replacing sensitive data, such as a bank card number, with a unique equivalent, called a token. Thanks to this, there is no need to transmit and store bank card data, even in encrypted form, which reduces the risk of fraud.

Payment from bank accounts

In addition to payment via payment systems, we accept payments directly from bank accounts of SEB, LHV, Swedbank, Luminor, Coop, Citadele, URBO, Artea and others (the full list is available when choosing a payment method).

Payment for tickets is made through the SEB bank payment gateway. The availability status of various payment methods can be viewed on this page of the payment system.

We recommend buying tickets in advance at the best price. Tickets purchased in the Baltic Shuttle Online ticket system can be exchanged or returned.

If there are problems with payment (for example, a technical failure of the SEB bank payment gateway), you can buy tickets for Baltic Shuttle flights in the TPilet service.

Buying tickets at bus stations

You can also buy tickets for our routes at bus stations in Tallinn, Saint Petersburg and Pskov. Ticket sales stop 15 minutes before departure.
