Border crossing Ivangorod — Narva

Due to the closure of vehicular traffic across the Ivangorod—Narva border crossing checkpoint, bus services from St Petersburg to Tallinn are operated using two buses with a pedestrian border crossing on foot. The ticket price covers full carriage to the final destination.

From June 15, 2026, the opening hours of the Ivangorod—Narva border crossing point is changed from 07:00 to 19:00.

As part of a single combined service on the St Petersburg — Tallinn route, the journey between St Petersburg and Ivangorod is operated by buses of the Russian carrier SKSauto, followed by a pedestrian border crossing into Narva, and carriage between Narva and Tallinn by Baltic Shuttle buses.

1. The SKSauto bus takes passengers to the parking lot opposite the Ivangorod bus station (2 Gospitalnaya Street).
2. Passengers walk approximately 950 metres along a designated pedestrian path to the Russian border control building, cross the border bridge on foot (there are signs to the checkpoint and boarding areas), and proceed through passport and customs control at the Estonian checkpoint Narva-1. Passengers with EU biometric passports go through passport control through automatic gates.
3. In Narva, the Baltic Shuttle bus waits for passengers at the stop at Peetri plats.

Buses wait for passengers after pedestrian border crossing for up to two hours (or longer in cases of extended border queues and non-arrival of the majority of passengers; the driver acts according to the circumstances).

By mutual agreement between the bus operators, they pick up each other's passengers (subject to seat availability) if passengers are delayed at boarding due to queues, document checks, or baggage inspections. Drivers or dispatchers contact delayed passengers using the mobile phone number provided at the time of ticket purchase. Therefore, please ensure you provide a valid mobile phone number, keep your phone switched on, and answer incoming calls.

The ticket must be presented to the driver in digital or printed format. Boarding is also permitted upon presentation of the travel identity document specified at the time of purchase.
