By decision of the Police and Border Guard Board, the operating hours of the border checkpoints between Estonia and Russia are changing. As of August 2026, it has been decided to keep this operating schedule in effect indefinitely.
From June 15, 2026, opening hours are from 7:00 to 19:00.

Baltic Shuttle does not operate bus services through this border crossing.
The time in Estonia and Russia during the summer time period is the same.
Baltic Shuttle is forced to cancel its bus service to St Petersburg departing from Tallinn at 3:00 PM starting June 15.
Passengers on cancelled bus trips can exchange tickets or receive a full refund.
Tickets purchased on the Baltic Shuttle website can be exchanged through the passenger's personal account. For all questions regarding ticket exchanges and refunds, please contact Baltic Shuttle dispatchers.
We are also increasing the capacity of our overnight bus service to St Petersburg, departing from Tallinn at 12:40 AM. Detailed information about this bus service, which arrives in Narva before the border crossing opens, can be found on the Baltic Shuttle website.
There are also daily bus routes from Tallinn to St Petersburg at 06:50 and 09:45.
On the St Petersburg to Tallinn bus route, the time it takes for passengers to pass through the Ivangorod→Narva border crossing has a significantly lesser impact on bus arrival delays.
