Changes in Tallinn — St Peterburg bus service schedule

Reduced opening hours of the border checkpoint in Narva

According to information we received from the Estonian Police and Border Guard Board, the operating hours of border crossings between Estonia and Russia are changing.

🛂 Border crossing Narva-1 (border crossing Narva ↔ Ivangorod)

From June 15 to August 31, 2026, opening hours are from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Currently, opening hours are from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM.

🚌 Baltic Shuttle operates bus routes between Tallinn and St. Petersburg through this border crossing.

Due to these changes, we will be forced to adjust the schedule of bus service across the Narva ↔ Ivangorod border (see below).

🛂 Koidula border crossing (Koidula ↔ Kunichina Gora border crossing)

Until August 31, 2026, working hours are from 7:00 to 19:00.

🚌 Baltic Shuttle operates bus routes between Tallinn and Pskov through this border crossing, the schedule will not change.

🛂 Luhamaa border crossing (Luhamaa ↔ Shumilkino border crossing)

Until August 31, 2026, operating hours are from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Baltic Shuttle does not operate bus services through this border crossing.

The time in Estonia and Russia during the summer time period (until October 25) is the same.

Cancellation of the Tallinn — St. Petersburg bus route at 3:00 PM

Baltic Shuttle is forced to cancel its bus service to St. Petersburg departing from Tallinn at 3:00 PM starting June 15.

Passengers on cancelled bus trips can exchange tickets or receive a full refund.

Tickets purchased on the Baltic Shuttle website can be exchanged through the passenger's personal account. For all questions regarding ticket exchanges and refunds, please contact Baltic Shuttle dispatchers.

We are also increasing the capacity of our overnight bus service to St. Petersburg, departing from Tallinn at 12:40 AM. Detailed information about this bus service, which arrives in Narva before the border crossing opens, can be found on the Baltic Shuttle website.

There are also daily bus routes from Tallinn to St. Petersburg at 06:50 and 09:45.

On the St. Petersburg to Tallinn bus route, the time it takes for passengers to pass through the Ivangorod→Narva border crossing has a significantly lesser impact on bus arrival delays, so the bus to Tallinn departing from St. Petersburg at 2:55 PM will continue to operate daily.
